About the Author
Judy Dykman teaches history and geography at Churchill Junior High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, where in 1995, she was selected as outstanding teacher of the year.
Colleen Whitley teaches English and honors courses at Brigham Young University in Utah.

Correction of slight genealogical misconception

The authors omit the genealogical fact that Suzanna Bransford is a direct descendant of Edward III of England through Anne, dau of Thomas of Woodstock, son of Edward III, as well as being a direct descendant of the British king Bran and Caradoc of England, captured by Claudius and taken to Rome and held for ransom. His daughter was adopted by Emperor Claudius and her name was changed to Claudia. She married Rufus Pudens, the son of Roman senator who was the half brother of Saint Paul. The first Christian Church in Rome was British. Many of that branch were martyred by Nero. The first Bransford came to the New World in the 1600's.. I have a photo of Suzanna which she sent to my mother I can add if I can get my HP scanner to work.
